Saturday Forum in Blandford Forum
The first in a series of forums to share knowledge and promote research.

The Saturday Forum will be held on 17 May, 10am – 5pm, at Corn Exchange Blandford. Advance Tickets £7.50; £10 at the door.
Members can book from the Dorset History Forum, c/o The Treasurer, Wilton Cottage, West Lulworth, Dorset BH20 5SA Forum membership costs £15 for societies and £6 for individuals.
The Saturday Forum will include: Displays by Local History Organisations in Dorset; Address by Chairman on the role, activities and plans of the Forum; Report on the Dorset Historic Towns Project; Visits to a choice of locations, Blandford Town Museum, or Blandford Costume Museum, or Guided Walk around Blandford old town including parts of the Anti-Tank Island of 1940-44; Presentation on the progress of the Forum and the new Dorset Digest; Details of activities undertaken by various Local History Societies in Dorset.
