ATTENTION MEMBERS!
We are looking for a volunteer(s) to come on board to help
manage the website. If you have website skills and would like to

The Dorset History Forum
was created in 2007 following an initiative by Dorset County Council's
Dorset History Centre [former Records Office]. However the Forum is
independent of the County Council and the Library Service. It is managed
by a Committee of volunteers appointed by members.
The Forum seeks to provide
a link between local history organisations in Dorset, including:
societies, individuals, museums, writers and researchers; in order to
enable the sharing of interests and information, so to promote research,
publication and the development and sharing of knowledge. The Forum
produces a Digest, free for members, £1 to public, to aid
the sharing of information and awareness of activities by the wide
variety of local history groups in Dorset. |
The Dorset
History Forum 3rd Annual AGM will be held on Saturday, 25th September.
